Dominican men's basketball wrapped up the PacWest/CCAA challenge facing off against Sonoma State Saturday night. The Seawolves would outlast the Penguins 69-57, but senior
Dale Currie provided a bright spot going for a game-high 17 points.
The Sacramento native was on fire from deep dropping five long balls against the Seawolves while also collecting two steals. Currie has provided a great scoring threat for the Penguins playing with the second unit.
Sophomore
PJ Volz was second on the team in scoring posting 11 points in 28 minutes played. Seniors
Garrett Siebels and
Marcus McCutchen had solid performance in the front court going for 10 points each. The senior duo also helped their teammates by dishing out two assists each.
Dominican will host Stanislaus State for their home opener Tuesday Nov. 14
