Softball named 2015-16 Easton / NFCA Division II All-Academic Team

Seven Penguins garner Easton Scholar-Athlete honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Dominican University of California has been named a 2015-16 Easton/NFCA Division II All-Academic Team.

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across seven membership divisions. 963 Division II student-athletes earned the honor. The Penguins registered the 32nd highest GPA in the nation with a 3.440 GPA.

Additionally, seven individual Penguins had a 3.5 GPA or higher and were named 2015-16 Easton/NFCA Division II Scholar-Athletes: Marissa Cordisco, Emily Ginn, Tori Johnson, Alyssa Lanza, Angelina Lombardi, Ashlyn Moriarity, and Shannon Rodriguez.
