Amanda Lee has been named PacWest Volleyball Defender of the Week for the second time this season. The award is based on matches played Oct. 24-30.
Lee had 29 digs in Dominican's sweep of Notre Dame de Namur, which moved the Penguins into sole possession of third place in the PacWest. The 29 digs were the second-most in a three-set match in the PacWest this season. Lee is second in the PacWest and 20th in the NCAA Division II in digs per set (5.64).
The Penguins will now head to Utah for a key match at fifth-place Dixie State (14-8/10-4 PacWest) on Saturday, Nov. 5. First serve is slated for noon (11 a.m. Pacific).
