IRVINE, Calif. – Dominican University of California women's volleyball player
Aimee Steinwand has been named this week's PacWest Volleyball Player of the Week. The awards is based on games played Oct. 3-9.
Steinwand led Dominican to two wins, extending the Penguins' winning streak to four-consecutive matches and moving them into a tie for third place with Concordia. She totaled 25 kills, 37 digs, and five blocks in the two matches, posting double-doubles in each. She had 13 kills and a season-best 21 digs in a five-set win at Academy of Art. She had 12 kills and 16 digs in a four-set win at Holy Names.
