Amanda Lee and
Aimee Steinwand have been named to the 2015 All-PacWest Volleyball Team. Amanda was named Libero of the Year and to the First Team while Steinwand was a Second Team selection.
Lee led the PacWest and ranked 18th in the nation in digs per set (5.86) to set the single-season program mark and become the first Dominican player to win PacWest Libero of the Year. She had five matches with at least 30 digs, including a program record 39 in a five-set win over Cal State Dominguez Hills. Additionally, the Daly City, California native recorded career-high four service aces vs. NDNU. Lee was named first PacWest Defender of the Week of the season, for matches Sept. 3-6. She is already the program's all-time career leader in reception percentage, digs, digs per set, third in service aces.
Steinwand set the single-season mark in the DII era with 4.06 kills per set, which was fourth best in the PacWest. She also averaged 4.81 points per set, which set another single-season mark. She recorded a career-high 24 kills in a 3-2 loss to No. 22 Sonoma State on Sept. 11. Her 69 attacks in a 3-2 loss to Stanislaus State are tied for most by a Dominican player in the DII era. Her .35 service aces per set were seventh-best among PacWest players.
