Brittany Latigue has been named PacWest Freshman of the Week for a second time this season. The current award is based on matches played Nov. 9-15.
Latigue earned her second weekly honor, averaging 3.38 kills per set on a .444 hitting percentage in two Dominican wins. The San Jose, California product also had 1.50 blocks per set. She recorded a career-high 15 kills and had eight blocks (two solo) against Notre Dame de Namur. Latigue ranks 11th in the PacWest in both hitting percentage (.270) and blocks per set (0.88).
The Penguins conclude the season this week. They'll host Holy Names on Wed, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. and head to Kezar Pavilion to face Academy of Art on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 3 p.m.
