Box Score OAKLAND, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's volleyball team fell in three straight sets (25-20, 25-12 25-20) to Holy Names University in Friday's Pacific West Conference match.
Dominican (6-16/4-10) started out with an 16-14 lead but HNU (11-13/8-5) went on an 11-4 run to take the early 1-0 advantage, 25-20. The Lady Penguins' struggles carried into set two, as Dominican fell behind 14-5 en route to hiting -.109 in the set to fall 25-12. HNU built a 9-2 lead in the third set and Dominican closed the gap to four but ran out of time and fell 25-20.

Jessica Jones led the Lady Penguins with seven kills, followed by five from senior
Ashlee Sand. Freshman
Sari Kwan recorded 22 digs.
Rachel Vartanian and Katie Lopez each had 13 kills for the Lady Hawks.
The Lady Penguins finish the season with a three-game road trip to Southern California at Azusa Pacific University, California Baptist University, and Point Loma. First serve at APU is slated for Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
