ST. GEORGE, UTAH — The Dominican University of California women's softball team managed just four hits in Thursday's Pacific West Conference doubleheader at Dixie State College. Dominican lost 11-3 in five innings and was no-hit in the nightcap, falling 17-0 in five innings.

Crystal Albert, sophomore corner outfielder
Cortnie Chenoweth, and senior third baseman
Robyn Ridpath drew walks in game two. Dominican added an additional pair of baserunners thanks to errors but the Lady Penguins were unable to bring them home.
Junior first baseman
Kellie Hislop went 2-for-5 on the day and drove in a pair of RBIs for the Lady Penguins (1-30/0-14). Albert went 1-for-4 with a walk, a run, and an RBI.
Junior Lauren Folta recorded her second career no-hitter and the victory for the first-place Red Storm (19-8/10-2).
Dominican heads to Grand Canyon University for doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10. Both twinbills are slated for first pitch at 12:00 p.m.
