BRISBANE, Calif. — The Dominican University of California women's softball team dropped its rematch against Academy of Art University on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Penguins, who dropped a pair to AAU in the two teams' Pacific West Conference opener, dropped another PacWest set 10-2 in six innings and 5-2.

Robyn Ridpath drove home a pair of Dominican (1-14/0-4) runs in the first game, going 1-for-2 with a two-run double that scored juniors

Shawna Robb. In game two, freshman catcher
Dominique Perry hit a two-run first inning double that plated junior
Kellie Hislop and sophomore
Molly Howard.
Robb took the loss in game one. Junior pitcher
Jessi Saaty struck out four batters and didn't allow a walk in game two but was also charged with the loss.
Dominican will host its firs true home games on Saturday, March 19 at McInnins Park when Notre Dame de Namur University visits San Rafael. First pitch of the PacWest doubleheader is slated for 12:00 p.m.
