HAYWARD, Calif. —

Hislop homered in the top of the second inning to get Dominican on the scoreboard. The Pioneers scored five more runs in the fourth inning and the Lady Penguins stranded a runner in the top of the fifth inning, bringing the game to an end by way of the run rule.
