Gabby Pecora led the Dominican University of California women with 10 kills but it wasn't enough to top CSU Stanislaus, who notched their second win over the Lady Penguins in less than a week, on Wednesday night.
Pecora led the team in attacks and had a team-high 17 digs. However, Pecora only connected for a .053 kill rate, with the Lady Penguins combining to hit .109 on the night.

Brooke Swingle recorded 28 assists and led Dominican with three of the team's four service aces. Freshman libero
LaShelle Rullan recorded a career-high 15 digs.
Lianne Vicchio led CSU Stanislaus with 11 kills.
Stanislaus (4-2) jumped out to an early 11-4 lead and finished the set on a 7-2 run to win the first game 25-13.
Dominican (1-4) rallied back in set two led by senior
Lorel Grande, who placed four of her nine kills in the frame.
The Lady Penguins fell behind in the third set but pulled ahead 24-23 before eventually dropping the set 27-25 after failing to convert two set-points.
The Lady Penguins didn't recover from the blow handed to them in set three, spotting Stanislaus an 11-4 lead before dropping the fourth set 25-16.
Dominican has a busy weekend ahead, as the Lady Penguins travel to San Francisco for the PacWest Tournament for two matches on Friday and two matches on Saturday.
