HONOLULU, HI — The Dominican University of California women's volleyball team fell in Pacific West Conference play to Chaminade University in three sets on Thursday night, 18-25, 8-25, 16-25.

Chaminade, whose only conference win came in a five-set match against Dominican on Oct. 2, improves to 3-8 overall and 2-8 in PacWest play, while Dominican falls to 4-17 and remains winless in conference play at 0-8.

The Lady Penguins were led by Gabby Pecora's eight kills. LaShelle Rullan led Dominican with 13 digs.

Chaminade was led by  Whitney Viveiros' 15 kills.

Dominican travels to Hawai'i Pacific University on Friday, Oct. 16. Match time is set for 7:00 p.m.
