Natalie Diaz was named as an honorable mention selection to the All-American team Monday, as voted on by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
Diaz was the PacWest Co-Player of the Year, leading the conference at 23.9 points per game and making a PacWest record 262 field goals in the regular season. The three-time PacWest Player of the Week scored in double-digits in 29 of her 30 games on the season, including six 30-point efforts. She ranks third in the nation in scoring (24.1 ppg) and fourth in total points (722) heading into the final week of the season. Diaz was named to the D2CCA All-West Region first team last week.
